Patrick Murphy | President

As a local business owner and entrepreneur, Patrick Murphy is a smart addition to the Friends of Jaclyn Board of Directors. Patrick plans to help facilitate more local fundraisers that can help to ensure the growth of FOJ as well as spread awareness for pediatric cancers. Pat is Jaclyn and Taryn’s uncle and has been with the family throughout their entire journey. Pat is serving his first term on the Board of Directors as the President.

Pat and wife, Marijo have 3 daughters, with their eldest attending Binghamton University.

Andy Walsh | Vice President

Owner of AJ’s Sports Bar and Grill, Andy Walsh is a valued friend of the Foundation, Murphy Family (Andy is Taryn’s Godfather) and member of the Yorktown community. Andy has attended several adoptions that he helped to facilitate using his connections in the sports world. Andy’s skills in management and business development have aided FOJ to a secure place in the pediatric cancer awareness domain. Andy is serving his first term on the Board of Directors as the Vice President.

Lynda Murphy | Treasurer

As the saying goes: Behind every great man is an even better woman; Lynda Murphy is a perfect example of this. Lynda is, first and foremost, Jaclyn and Taryn’s mom, Denis’ wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend and a teacher, among other things. Lynda helps to ensure that Friends of Jaclyn is staying true to its core values which include love, support and friendship. Lynda acts as Secretary of the Foundation.

Maura Byrne

Maura has an extensive executive management background in the media business, managing sales and marketing teams at Verizon, Dunn & Bradstreet and Reuben H. Donnelley. Maura is currently the Senior Vice President at Travalliancemedia, a world-wide trade media company. Maura holds her BS in Business Administration & her MBA from Mount Saint Mary College.

Scott Dmitrenko

After 20 plus years at the EVP level in the Sports marketing and nutritional industries, Scott made a major pivot into the entertainment space. Through his creation of an intellectual property named “Mulligan” this film franchise is set in the world of golf and wraps around a story of Second Chances. His production partners include the PGA of America and the largest entertainment/media company in the world Dentsu International. There is a major philanthropic component to the movie franchise that includes Friends of Jaclyn. As a film maker Scott looks to break new ground in ways to bring exposure and funding opportunities to FOJ.
