Grace Sturm’s Story

Grace had been experiencing headaches off and on since January ’09. This all came to a climax over the weekend of July 18 when Grace became very ill. She was taken to Danbury Hospital’s emergency room Sunday morning and shortly after air lifted to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital/Westchester Medical Center. It was then that we were told that she had a mass at the base of her brain about the size of a golf ball. Grace has a fabulous team of doctor’s working with her – we feel blessed to have such great talent so close to home.
